Taking Life for granted
Days come and go. Our lives unfold quickly even though at certain times the hours might drag by. Everyday we awake into another day. Some of us have purpose, others are searching for purpose, and some of us are barely hanging on too anything but our own selfish despair. In reality we wake up everyday not to make money, not to feed ourselves, not to go to school and especially not to entertain ourselves. We as humans beings wake up everyday to get to know and love our creator more and more. That is it.... period. Our existence is for no other reason. The world wants us to think we wake up everyday for ourselves, to better ourselves or in a more humanitarian way care for the people around us. That in it self is a half-truth. We are here to serve our creator. We serve our Creator, our God, by making ourselves better people and doing our daily duties in life because he asks us to do so.
