A light in A World filled with "Lights"

 It is 2018. Here in the United States it seems as if politics are on the tip of everyone's tongue. Donald Trump and his actions seem to be the main topic of all these conversations. These conversations make me reflect on our government and how free we are as individuals. Let me make this clear reader, or viewer, or whatever you may call yourself. I am not writing this to debate your political views; I am writing this to in kindle in your minds who you are as a human being. I want you to step outside the box and think big.   Are we all created equal? Well I guess it really only depends if you believe in a God, and more precisely a christian God. Because like it or not without a God, we humans are not equal. We do not live in a Godly world so our freedom is in constant danger.     Our World is ruthless. Make no mistake it has always been ruthless.  Fairness and equality has never existed except in the fantasies of our mind. Look around you and tell me what you see! The people in your daily walk of life whether it be your neighbor, roommate, coworker, or own relative are trapped in their own movie. The world revolves around them. Their desires, their needs dictate what they do and what they do not do. They do not care about you unless you benefit them. The words that come to mind is selfishness and pride.  Looking into the mirror I see the same person that I see around me. I see a person who puts himself in front of other people. Unlike other people I might not stomp over others or annihilate them to get what I want but I definitely only look out for myself.
