Beautiful Pain

 Sometimes God seems nowhere. His love seems hidden from our gaping hearts. But what I have discovered is that God's love is humorous to our human understanding. God's divine love is most often times shown in pain.  It is a beautiful pain. Look at catastrophes for an example. Floods, hurricanes, suicide bombs, and school shootings. An abundance of pain is created by the natural disaster or evil murdering perpetrator. However in the responses to these horrific events an abundance of love and support soon comes. More love is shown and more lives are reached than there would ever be if the disaster never took place.   Pain grabs our attention the most. It causes us to react while other things can wander right through one ear down through the next. Many of us learned how to behave through pain filled punishments when we were young kids. God knows this so He allows pain in our life so we can stay focused or refocus ourselves on Him.   An example of how pain brings love...

"Looking At Your Life Through Heaven's Eyes"

I recently re watched one of my favorite childhood movies “The Prince Of Egypt.” For you readers unfamiliar with the movie Its based of the story of Moses and how he delivered the people out of slavery in Egypt. Its an animated movie produced by Dream works and it was very well done. I was watching the movie out of nostalgia but one of the songs in the movie hit me real deep. The song is called “Through Heavens Eyes” and it raises the very important questions that are “So how you can see what your life is worth, or where your value lies?” The song answers the question with this answer “You can never see through the eyes of man you must look at your life through Heaven’s eyes.” That verse hit me right at my core. It made me reflect on my life and earthly success. I thought about how I get caught up on how I view my earthly success as if it’s the only thing that matters.
