We Totally Enjoy Chaos!

 In our American culture today it seems as if we enjoy division. This definitely is clear in our politics. Our senators, congress men and women, judges, and governors do not get along.  Neither do we as individual Americans get along. We are constantly pitted at one an another not willing to walk in each other shoes. This is not good for America. This is not good for us as individuals. We must heal as a nation or perish as individuals. But deep down inside we enjoy this chaos, this endless drama.
 You know who else loves chaos? The Devil loves Chaos. He is the king of all Lies and he must be enjoying the show our nation is giving him. He knows when were caught up in in our political disputes we lose focus on God. When we lose focus on God we forfeit our knowledge on truth. With God out of the picture we no longer posses wisdom. When wisdom is dormant we can not discern what is right and  what is wrong.
 Sadly division is not only found in our politics. It is also found in our religious faiths. We as a human race as a whole are divided in what we believe. But just like in science in which things are a certain precise way so too do the things of God work. Things do not always appear the way they seem. Water  for example, when we drink it we do not taste the Hydrogen, or the oxygen, yet both are there. Than also there must be only one truth yet many people maliciously or ignorantly push false beliefs or narratives.
 Do I think we as a nation and as humans will peacefully unite? I do not think so.  History says other wise and our human nature loves discord. We must act by always searching for truth and than being on the side of truth. God has a plan for us and has revealed certain truths to us. We can not let others twist the truth for their own amusement.

God vs The Idea of God

 Growing up I read, listened  and watched many fairy tales and Disney movies. These stories revolve around fantasy and filled my mind with hope. It formed my mind to look and think about "True" love  in a certain way. As I got older and experienced relationships for myself I realized that my view on love was in correct and expectations were to high. This was caused mostly because my idea of love was a picture painted from the videos and stories I had seen when I was young. The way we think of God and how He acts toward us is no different than the way I view true love.  Our minds can put God into a box. Inside the box, we control what God can and can not do. Because we are stuck on the Idea of God and not the true essence of God. The idea of God is subjective and opinionated. You can ask twenty people what there idea of God is and you will get twenty different answers. But since truth is king, there is only one true chemistry of God and we must do two things about it...

God Helps Those Who Help Themselves

    One sunny morning, a few years back in my general contracting days, I hopped into my rusty pickup truck and turned the key in the ignition. "Bang" The passenger door closed with a thud. A wide smile from my cousin/helper, Pete, greeted my tired face. I put the gear stick in drive and sped off.
